Exciting opportunity to do impactful and highly visible work directly affecting fresh produce industry member operations by following the guiding principles of Trust, Transparency, and Honesty. This position will have the primary responsibility for managing the credit and contract processes.

Full-time salaried position with benefits including 401(k) plan with company matching for contributions up to four percent of an employee's base pay; medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; and paid time off.


  • Experienced produce sales professional and expert communicator.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Determined and self-motivated leader.
  • Knowledge of the produce contracting process and dealing with customers.
  • Experience selling produce - comfortable communicating through email, phone, video conference and in person.
  • Ability to turn data into insights and insights into business decisions for top leaders in the Fresh Produce industry.

QUALIFICATIONS (ideal – a reasonable combination of the following may be considered):

  • A minimum of four to six years of related Fresh Produce work experience or associated roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Ag Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or another relevant quantitative field
  • Experience with the fresh produce customer supply contract environment.
  • Detail-oriented with genuine concern for maintaining high accuracy, integrity, process consistency, and documentation to ensure people across the company trust the data and recommendations.
  • Develop and manage Tableau reporting, create dashboards and database feeds. Communication experience with data storytelling and presentations utilizing tools such as PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Experience in conducting analyses, identifying insights, and communicating results to inform business decisions to senior audiences
  • Experience influencing data, business, and key stakeholders through an understanding of business needs and proven experience translating business objectives into actionable insights
  • Expert in using Excel spreadsheets for running data analysis and building quantitative models for business decision-making. Experience with pivot table-based reporting, using charts for visualization, and use of lookup and math functions
  • Proven capability managing multiple concurrent projects, and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop relationships with members at various levels of their organizations.
  • Interact with Sales, Production, Credit, Management, and Owner Principals.
  • Create productive relationships that help solve challenges and successfully drive member businesses forward.
  • Provide ongoing market analysis, including collecting, processing, analyzing, and distributing critical recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Effectively communicate data insights using Tableau dashboards, static reports, and presentations to senior audiences.
  • Apply quantitative skills to see beyond the numbers, connect the dots, and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence strategy for senior management.
  • Compile data across various sources, make recommendations and facilitate frequent meetings with stakeholders to create a path forward that works for all.
  • Collect, aggregate and track member contract data throughout the negotiation process.
  • Work closely with the President in guiding meetings of the membership
  • Manage the credit committee*, preside at their monthly meetings, collect, aggregate, and disseminate the aging reports and work closely with the committee chair(s) to ensure productive, insightful meetings.


*The credit committee is comprised of the collections managers for members and shares best practices, customer payables contacts and methods, provides spot credit checks to each other and submits and reviews the aggregated aging lists for all customers.
