Position Overview:

On this employer’s behalf, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join their team. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for organic agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to drive performance and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive business expansion.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to optimize sales efforts.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
  • Travel regularly to visit customers, attend trade shows, and represent Company throughout the United States.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally successful candidate will have the following qualifications (a combination of these may be considered):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales management, preferably in the organic vegetable industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Deep understanding of the organic food market and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in Famous software and Microsoft Office Suite.
